So I called the trunk and let it ring. The first thing that picked up was the auto attendant, then I pushed nothing, then it rolled to the operator, the operator/receptionist didnt pick up, then it went to the receptionists mailbox which was full then it rolled to the auto attendant again and kept doing that over and over. The problem the normal receptionist is on maternity leave and she didnt tell the temp the password and site manager doesnt want to violate the privacy of the receptionist's mailbox. Ive increased the capacity of the mailbox as a stop gap. Any ideas how to eliminate the loop?

Ugh, after a week of other craziness I can get back to this issue.

The phone set says "CO Trunk" when ringing.

It looks like it's happening after certain calls end. The operator reported that 2 happened at 303 PM and 333 pm. Below are a couple examples :

4490 to 4499 are VM ports, I'm not the best at reading these but it looks like the calls are stuck in a loop in the Voicemail system, but I can't figure out how. The calling number is different every time, any thoughts or am I just reading this wrong?

Hey guys,
I've got a strange issue with one of my 3300s. The site is reporting that they are getting ghost calls to their operator, I checked the logs and nothing looks unusual, I also made sure that on hook dialing was disabled in the COS for the VM ports. I didn't make any changes, but the next day they said that incoming calls were not picking up or were taking a long time for the auto attendant to pickup. The trunk attributes and COS appear right and the local phone company says everything tests right on their end, any ideas?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Stuck on option 125

We have an office we just leased in another building in the same business park as our main office. The 3300 is on VLAN 73 in the main building. Because of landlord issues we couldn't run cables between the two buildings, so we had to setup an ipsec tunnel to our network in this second building. This building has a different VLAN, 76. We are trying to get DHCP to point to the controller on VLAN 73 on the network of the other building. We have the VLAN setting in 125 set for 76, the phone will start and get stuck at "Using option 125", I can ping the controller from VLAN 76 and I can even get a phone to work if I manually configure it. We have tried several different things, the only thing I can narrow it down to is the VLAN setting in 125. I have tried setting it to 73, wouldn't work and 76 and it wouldn't work either. Are there any suggestions?

The only thing I can find is Multiline Set On-Hook Dialing is "On". Is that the one that should be off?

I have a 3300 with embedded VM. My operator is randomly getting calls from the VM Ports and when she answers there is nobody there. This is happening 4 or 5 times per day. I contacted our local Mitel vendor and they said it sounds like people are getting voicemail dialing zero then hanging up, and there is nothing that can be done. Does anybody have any other ideas?

I know this sounds weird, but I am trying to figure out how to restrict an extension from dialing internally and make it so it can only call outside. We are leasing out a couple of offices in our building and I want to isolate these two numbers from being able to call other extensions on our network.

We are testing hot desking in our organization and are trying to figure out a couple of things. We are in a clustered environment with 7 3300s. I am experimenting with it configured at 3 of the 7 sites.
When not logged in the set says LOCKED and can receive calls and make emergency calls. But am unable to make or receive normal calls. (Internal or External) Is it possible to configure the sets to have the ability to make and receive internal and external calls without being logged into the phone?

I have a problem at one of our sites. It was just recently upgraded from 5.0 to 6.0 SP3. There are a few people that have Call Forwarding NA and Call Fwd Busy going to their cellphones. Prior to the upgrade the call would forward and would allow the caller to leave messages on the mobile voicemail. After the upgrade I am getting complaints that the call will forward to the cell phone for about 3 or 4 rings then the call goes to to the Voicemail box on the mitel system. They want it to work the way it was before, I can't figure out where the problem is as everything looks right, any thoughts?

We have a setup like that, we have a multicall presence on each phone that needs the analog extension. Works great!

I have a site with a 3300 running 4.0 with a user that after the greeting the auto attendant comes on and says press 2 to transfer to his cell phone.  When someone does that it calls someones extension, he doesn't remember setting that up. I can't find where in the admin console to fix this. Anybody know where I can change this number or does it have to be done by the user?

I have a user  that needs to have a multicall button of an extension placed on their phone. The extension is on another mitel switch at a different location. When we try to add that extension to the button it says the extension is not valid. We are able to 4 digit dial between sites. What is the best way to get this to work?

That explains it then, we are using 9.035 on our older systems. Those are being upgraded in the next few months.

As for the alarm, it is referring to someone logging in with wrong credentials excessively.
