VM Disable forward to Cell Phone
« on: April 03, 2014, 09:22:36 AM »
I have a site with a 3300 running 4.0 with a user that after the greeting the auto attendant comes on and says press 2 to transfer to his cell phone.  When someone does that it calls someones extension, he doesn't remember setting that up. I can't find where in the admin console to fix this. Anybody know where I can change this number or does it have to be done by the user?

The user has to log into his mailbox via TUI.
I forget the exact sequence of buttons to push but he'll have to log in and delete the number that's in the cell.
That will deactivate it.

I believe it's 2 - 2 - * from the User Options menu.

Can also be done system wide by disabling personal contact numbers from the system administrator mailbox.
