extension not available only at some branches?
« on: September 14, 2015, 11:34:21 AM »
Any idea why an extension would not be available when called from a different branch location?
At the site it's created from, its fine, at others it states it is not avaialble

Do a full import/export of all nodes, make sure it appears in the database.

OK, now we are getting somewhere!
This ext is NOT in that branch db.

How do I perform a db import?

Hi,

From within database programming you need to go to the top and click Tools > Operations > and then Import/Export. From there, select which system node you want to import FROM (meaning, you will get that node's extensions) then clear all of the check boxes except for the ones you want (i.e. Phones/Stations) and then perform the import. It's a good idea to do this for every node on the network to make sure all of the extensions are the same across all systems.

Do a full import/export. If you're missing phones, something else could also be missing.

That looks like it worked.  Thank you very much!

Will do!  Thanks
