Use a system speed call in a call flow

I am creating a call flow for and I am having trouble with using a system speed call number in a blind transfer.

We have an 888 number that goes to an automate system outside our phone system.
I created a system speed call of 6326 --> 8886546546.
On my 5340 phone, I can dial 6326 and it will go to the 888 number.

Within the call flow , I have created an action -- Blind transfer.
I have entered the 6326 ext into this action.

When I test it, it comes back with " I'm sorry that is not a valid ext. number"

Is there something I am missing?

A couple of things can block this.
I'm assuming that your system speed dial is flagged for "over ride toll restriction".

Check the COS of both the incoming trunks and the voice mail port and be sure it allows public network to public network connections.
Another things that will block this is interconnect restriction or tenanting.

I have change the overrides Toll control to yes.

I checked the COS for both and it allows public network to public network.
Checked interconnect , it has 1-64 not restricted.
Also checked tenants, #1 is occupied but all ohters are unoccupied.

Is there anything else I should check?

can you accept a call on your desk phone and then xfer out to the system speed dial number?

You may have to build a phantom extension and call reroute always to the speed call to get it to work.

Can you explain what you meant by accepting a call and then xfer out to system speed dial number.
Can you also explain on how to build a phantom ext and call reroute always to speed call

What I mean by accepting a call is to have someone call you from the outside - like from a cell phone - and then you transfer the call to the speed dial.

I think what Mattmayn means by a "phantom extension" is to program up either a new phone that will never be plugged in or a key on a phone and then in the call rerouting forms forward on an always condition to the speed dial number you created.

I think the speed dial number should work but that's another option.

I can accept a call and then transfer to the speed dial.

I tried setting up a key with 6326 but would not accept it becuase it waas already being used.
the phantom ext, would I create an ext  6325 under users and then in the always rerouting point it to the 6326

Yes.  program any other number than what you are using for speed dial and then forward to the speed dial.

The setup works when I dial 6325 on my phone but when it try the call flow it gives me the same error "not a valid ext."

Are you using a Nupoint?

Try creating a mail box and using that in the call flow.

Are you hearing "invalid extension" or are you seeing it on your display?

I am hearing invalid ext.
On the phone, I see held by vm port 7 then it just shows vm port 7.
