How to make M695 key module work.

I'm feeling rather dumb.  I can't figure out how to program up a M695 key module of for the 6940 set.
Has anyone made this work?  If so, what steps did you use?

Update: I'm able to make it work on a non-hotdesk user.
I had to reboot the device in order for it to work.

For the hotdesk user, I don't see a way to tell it that is has a PKM so I'm limited to 96 keys.

Well, I have my answer.  You can only add the key modules to the physical phone.  Can't do it to a hot desk phone.

LOL.  Actually we a lot of 5560 devices with 196 buttons and all of them are used.  Happens a lot in the financial industry.

I'm in the same situation , and very disappointed

i have 3 users HOTDESK ( they move all the day from office to office ) so i can"t use the new PKM m695 with hotdesk . ( i will open a Design feature request)

Our company recently purchased and installed a Mitel system (3300 w/ 6920 & 6940 sets) I ordered a few M695 PKM's but my installer does not seem interested in programing them.

I can get the line presence keys (DSS/Service Lamp) to function but the built in LED's don't light up when the line is in use. Also, I don't see any programming options for the 3 keys below the screen within the Keys tab in the phone configuration.

Any idea on how do light the LED's or how to program the 3 buttons below the screen?

The keys below the screen are context-drive and give the user options like "redial" or "transfer" depending on what's available to the current state of the device.
 
Your DSS keys should definitely light up.
Are you talking about one user monitoring another user on the same controller?
I wonder if you've changed a CoS option that has stopped it from lighting up? Not entirely sure which one it could be, but maybe the HCI Monitor CoS option?

On another system type this is correct.
I know when they are connected to an A400 system the phones have different firmware and the panel has 3 pages and also basic presence I think.
They also have a better looking dark theme IMO.

3 keys = 3 pages , you can have 96 keys

Hopefully this is something that will be fixed in an update.
Similar to how the 5320 phones only had one page of keys in the older versions of software.

Thanks for your reply. The DSS keys do show the green / red indicators on the screen, but the actual physical LED's remain unlit. Also, the 3 buttons below the screen have no functions. It appears that the HCI Monitor COS is enabled. Maybe I have a defective unit.

So the 6940s are working OK for you, but the 6920s are not?
 
Are they hotdesk users? Maybe the base set CoS for the 6920s should be checked as well as the user CoS?

Exacty 3 * 28 and it works with 69xx ,  NOT HOTDESK.
