You need special software to change the programming from the Mitel downloads page, which is located behind a partner only login portal.  If you don't know the password to the system you'd have to have a Mitel partner open a ticket for a password recovery which costs a few hundred dollars.  With only 4 phones it might be cheaper to factory default the system and have somebody just reprogram it real quick.  A system that size should be 30 minutes or so to reconfigure from scratch.

Disable the trunk in MiVB Network Elements then disable the trunks on the MBG also, then turn both back on should do it then.  Generally the Network Elements does it by itself.  A full reboot is a red flag something isn't setup right.

Should be able to go into Network Elements and disable then re-enable the trunk instead of a full reboot.  That would force a re-register.  Do you have an MBG?  MiVB is not supposed to be connected directly to public SIP trunks via NAT.  Documentation shows that is not supported.  If you have a local private IP hand off for SIP then that should be OK.

Using bootable USB?  Build the bootable drive using Rufus in DD mode.  Something about the image bring corrupted if not built in DD mode.  I have had this happen many times the last few years to my techs.  If you burn MSL to a DVD this doesn't happen.

The MiVB certification manual has a whole chapter on it with step by step instructions.

Create a group policy and push it out via AD using the msi installer.

I got a new laptop at work and just used the 3.3.1 full Win64 version with no issues.

Do you have analog trunks set to Bellcore FSK?  I believe caller ID never works until you set that on each trunk.

9
You can setup a rule in MIR for trunk side recording to purge any call unless it contains extensions you want to keep.  That is how you get cradle to grave recordings on calls that pass through select users.  For example, a call goes through a sales person and then is transferred to an ACD agent.  If you want cradle to grave for anything touching an agent you set the rule to purge anything not touching those extensions.  The system will record EVERY call, but immediately purge the ones not matching the rules.

You need to put a CESID on everything, not just phones.  So voicemail ports even a twinning hot desk phone though not a physical phone need an entry.  Export the CESID form and just fill it in then import it to clear the alarm.

If you are looking for all extensions regardless if active or not you could export the Users and Devices form then do a custom sort by type.

You could send 0 to a ring group and make those people members or make 0 a line appearance on both phones then you can name the key something different on the label so they know its an operator call vs a call directly to them.

Do you have a MiCollab?  I've seen a similar error and assume you do.  Here is how I would approach it with an example:

User1 is ext 1000 which is a full user on MiVB and MiCollab and the extension pinned to the phone.
User2 is ext 1001 which is a trusted extension (can be fully licensed but doesn't need to be) on MiVB and full user on MiCollab
Put User2 as a multi-call on User1's phone so they can get calls and then an MWI key for their mailbox.

If you have POTS lines it's probably the day mode destination for the trunk group. DIDs are normally configured in the call routing form.
