What email system are they using?  On-prem or cloud?

What is in the "Path Unavailable Answer Point Directory Number" setting on the ACD Paths screen?  What happens if you call the number specified there?

Do you have MiContact Center?  If so, what is displayed in the Avail and Unavail columns in Queue Now for that queue?

Go to Trunks -> SIP Peer Profile -> Outgoing DID Ranges. Move the new DID Range Index to the Selected Indexes box.

Is display scaling set to something other than 100%?

I’ve found that several Mitel programs don’t scale correctly.

Check it at Settings -> System -> Display.  If you change the setting, I recommend a reboot before relaunching the application.

Are there unassigned addresses available in the DHCP range?

I think I’ve seen this type of behavior before when all addresses in the range were already assigned.

That’s one of the problems with external hot desk.  The Mitel system can’t tell whether the person answered or their mobile voicemail.

MiCollab soft phones address that issue pretty well if your situation otherwise fits their capabilities and limitations.

You have to listen to the entire greeting when extended absence is on, but pressing * should work during the system prompt after the greeting.

Have you configured call rerouting on these extensions? Do unanswered calls go to voicemail when the laptops are on?
