Post by: pkriek on June 12, 2013, 02:00:16 PM
Assume we have a 3 or 4 party conf call in place.

then seperate from this call we have a call with another person, wh we would like to put into the call.

how do we forward this person into the call.

Here's how to add another caller into an existing conf call.
This assumes the caller that you want to join the conference is holding on another line or phone.

You also need to make sure that the system is configured to allow the number of callers/trunks to a conference. If it doesn't work, check that first.

Also, I have people call the "people head" button a girl with pig tails all the time.

A girl with pig tails?
Took me a second but now I see it.

a girl with pig tails

Not to hijack your thread, but I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw the button that way. For the longest time I couldn't understand what a girl with pig tails had to do with transfer/conference. It took a customer to point out to me that it was actually meant to be multiple people. Now whenever I have to train any users, I tell them both ways that I see the picture.

I had the opposite happen. I had a customer who couldn't see the three heads and told me that all they could see was a girl with pig tails.
