Quicky on AA
« on: May 11, 2017, 03:07:38 PM »
Believe it or not never done this and just want to check.

Customer has main i/c number on multicalls with backups on delayed ring.

Now they want it to go to reception and then auto attendant. So i assume that deleteing the multicalls and using first alternative of answer point to main number of VM group will work to get to the AA.

sorry for basic question but I just need a sanity check....

As long as there is no mailbox for the main number (assuming some sort of DDI trunks) it should get answered by the main AA.

What do you want the AA to do? Dial direct to extensions...?

Yes, direct dial to extensions. press  1 for service 2 for parts etc.

No DDI just rings in to answer point which is reception phone with multicall keys on delayed ring on about 4 other extensions. Will get rid of multicalls of course and make reception the only answer point.

IIRC they have lots of spare VM licences so no problem with them.
