upgrade to 8.0 MCD causing flakey issues

I upgraded a newer system MXe from 7.2 to 8.0 yesterday and the forms, primarily key forms have started acting flakey with IE browser...I can build one or multiple key correctly and when I save them, it may say something about ring assignment on key one, or it may take the changes but not update the info on the screen until I exit the extension and get back into it...anyone else experiencing any odd issues with 8.0 MCD?

Did you clear the cache on your IE browser and restart it?

As far as that goes, why still use IE... it is a horrible browser, I use Firefox where ever possible and have no issues. I only keep IE to access older systems.

Yeah, I cleared the cache and restarted.

I guess I had been using IE more, because Firefox is a pain to beg your way through the nanny cert warnings to open the forms.

I agree Firefox doesn't display these issue in the key forms

Don't forget to import the root certificate for Mitel into Firefox, it will eliminate a lot of those issues. Also look into an Add-On called "Skip Cert Error"

I attempted to add the root cert without much success. I will definitely look into the cert add on

I haven't worked with 8.0 yet but sometimes I have to use compatibility mode on IE to get things to work right.

What version of IE are you using? it won't really play nice with anything older than IE 11. Also, add the address of the MiVB to your "Trusted Sites" zone in IE, and set the security level for that zone to "Low".
