user 'dilkie' has been kind enough to provide instructions on how to update the firmware.

Thanks a lot I sow that tread, but I'm afraid that because I have a very old version my phones won't upgrade properly to the version on that system.
So ideally I'm looking for all the versions from 5 to the latest and will do TFTP upgrade "jumping" only from one version to the next one.

I don't think you understand, put them back into MiNET mode, activate Teleworker mode, then upgrade them... Once the upgrade is done, switch them back to SIP mode.

Unless your MiNET version is VERY old, meaning from a pre version 7.0 3300 PBX (not MCD), about 2002-2003, they should upgrade fine, the "step by step" upgrade procedure doesnt apply to MiNET mode in general.

I do understand what needs to be done, but I wasn't sure about the version jump.

Anyway I already tried  this method on one of the phones a couple of hours ago and it worked fine.

But I'm still a bit confused. After everything was done I got a new logo and the legal notice at the bottom of the screen during boot now say 2016, but the version is 6.xxxx
I thought that the latest version available was supposed to be 8.xxx ?

SIP version ≠ MiNET version

After you have reflashed the phone, put it in SIP mode again.

Of course I switched back to SIP
I even connected it to my PBX using config files on TFTP server

But there is almost no web gui (only one page with TFTP server config and very basic SIP settings).
From what I sow till now in different forums I expected to see much more.
