Ring Group Multiple nodes in cluster

I am trying to find the best way to get multiple phones in our organization to ring when someone calls into a certain DID.
I figured using a ring group would be the best solution. 

We are looking to setup our ring group on the NY 3300, but would like to include extensions from other nodes in the cluster.  When I do so, I receive an error "extension not compatible".

It appears this is not possible, but was wondering if I am missing some sort of programming.

Any other thoughts how we can accomplish this?

What software release are you running? I believe it's possible on the latest (MiVoice Business 7.2), but 6.0 or earlier I don't think you can add a remote DN to a ring group. However, you may be able to work around that by using a remote BLF/DSS key on the remote side.

Also in earlier you can add a ehdu. Needs some ars work to get it going but works.

EHDU = External Hot Desk User

It's the new version of twinning that lets a non-PBX device ring at the same time as a PBX device. Or really, lets a non-PBX phone number be called like it's a part of the PBX. For instance, I have a customer who in cases of weather emergencies has their CSR's login from their landline phones at home, as EDHU ACD agents. That way they can continue to be "open" for queue calls without actually having to have the employee come to the office.

EHDUs are great for "frigging" things. They allow for things that by default don't work I.e. Analogue RDNs in PRGs. Mega get out of jail card in clustered environments.
