Problem Solved!1) Install the headset and DECT hardware on the phone per instructions.
2) Put the instructions away, as they are totally incorrect beyond the hardware install.
3) Power the phone
4) Press Applications button (blue)
5) Select Cordless Devices
6) Press and hold the pairing button on the DECT module until you see the instructions to push and hold the headset hook until the blue led on the headset flashes
7) Once the DECT module and headset have established a connection you need to answer
yes on the phone to allow the device to be paired.
Now you can plug the headset into the charging cradle and you will see the green light.
9) Very simple, when you are not having to hack around to figure it out. (Over 3 hours wasted with Mitel support on this one, they had us doing all kinds of unrelated crap)
Yes, the jumper had been installed per the hardware instructions.
