5320 phones to get 2nd page
« on: April 30, 2015, 07:12:13 PM »
I heard of an update to the PBX that will allow the 5320 phones to gain a second page functionality...anyone can confirm or deny this?

Thanks1

Its set to be a part of the MiVoice Business/MCD 7.1 software, which was due for release today.

As of yet, the software is still unavailable. (But release notes have been posted.)

I don't know nor have I heard of this being released as an update to the 5000.

That would be a great feature, we use the alternate key map to create a second page. Just wish we could program the switch feature code on to the bottom arrow keys

Hershel,

Most of the time you do not use the SPCL key, (x), so you can change it to that if you wanted a second page on a 5320.

Thanks,

TE

TE,

We just program the top button and change  the label to "Next Page," since those top three buttons does have BLF they aren't all that useful.

Thanks for the reply guys.

It would only seem logical that they would offer this for the 5000 as well...mind you Mitel is sometimes not so "logical"...so perhaps we might never see it lol.

I'll keep bugging my local rep and see what he says.
