analog trunk did
« on: February 12, 2015, 02:42:58 AM »
Dear All,

I have 4 analog lines connected to mitel 3300 CXI (the 4 analog lines are in the same trunk group) and its working perfectly, now i have one employee (extension) want to have its own number (analog trunk did) so all incoming calls for that analog trunk number  will be routed to this extension (i did that) and all outgoing calls from this extension must use this analog trunk (i could not do that, ) so how can i route all outgoing call from an extension to be done from specific analog trunk? or how can i configure DID for analog trunk?

It's going to be a bit of a challenge but the way to do it is:
1) put the trunk in it's own trunk group and ARS route.  It will need a unique COR that is assigned to the user.  Block the user via COR from the main trunk group.

Or
2) Put the trunk in the same trunk group as the other trunks and then block access to it via interconnect restriction form.

Or
3) Put the user and the trunk in their own tenant.

This is some pretty advanced stuff.  It may take you a while to work it out.   The easiest option may be option 2.
