FTP files from inactive software load (Mitel 3300)

I have a customer that had some SIP phones that we had files in the /sysro/tftp directory, but after upgrading from 5.0 to 6.0 it appears these files are gone. Is it possible to FTP into the inactive software load on a controller and retrieve these files so they could be moved into the active load?

I don't know for sure but I'm not thinking you can.
It would have to do with the active/inactive partitions.
I don't think you can hit the inactive partition via FTP. 
I think the inactive partition is completely ignored.

That is kind of what I was thinking... I was hoping it was just a hidden directory like getting to /vmail

Anybody remember what files you have to add to the tftp directory for 8020 Spectralink phones?

Can't help with the files but if they can do without the system for a while you could do a swap from the maintenance commands and revert to the old software.
FTP your files off then 'swap' back to the current load. They should only be off the air for 45min or so.

Good idea, and kind of where I was going to go but I found the files on a directory in my laptop, just FTP'd them over and rebooted the Spectralink 8020 phones and away they went. Move a copy of those files over to our server with some notes for later, just in case.

I have Cisco 7941G Config files on the 3300 TFTP Server.

Yes you can,

Try to cd do /inactive/sysro/tftp.

If you're using a "visual" FTP client (like Filezilla, CuteFTP, etc.), you must enter path manually.
