mitel 3300 ring group overflow
« on: March 25, 2014, 08:55:35 PM »
Hello,

I have programmed a ring group with overflow to an phantom extension which is program to call reroute always to phantom extension's voicemail (nupoint).  when the ring timer expire in the ring group, it does not go to voicemail but instead it goes to message center in nupoint.

I know this trick/"work around" works for the internal voicemail, I dont use nupoint so I cant confirm

create a new hunt group, use * followed by the mailbox number (so if your mailbox is 123 use *123 as the huntgroup)
set call reroute always from the hunt group to the voicemail pilot
then set the ring group to reroute to the hunt group you just created

It is not going to the phantom extension numbers mailbox, it is trying to go to the ring groups.
If the ring group does not exist in NuPoint (which I assume it doesn't seeing that you are getting the message centre greeting) add it to the alternate extension of the phantoms mailbox.
