SX 200 AX Not Seeing Cards
« on: March 13, 2014, 03:50:54 PM »
Good afternoon.  I have a new SX-200 AX.  The switch does not recognize the 1st 4 slots or the last 4 slots, only slots 5-8.  Power lights on ok.  I have programmed the 1st 4 as ons, and have programmed 80 stations, so now I have a major alarm showing the 80 devices unavailable.  I'm stuck.

Well surprise it was the control card.  Thanks for the views. :)

Weird... I replied to this thread, but Tapatalk is... ummm... not the most reliable on this forum, guess another posting of mine from that app just disappeared, sorry.

Anyway, glad you got it working. Odd to see a control card go bad, never seen one fail unless it was lightening damage or another external source.

I am assuming this was an out of box failure?
