Multicall on another switch?
« on: January 16, 2014, 09:34:09 PM »
I have a user  that needs to have a multicall button of an extension placed on their phone. The extension is on another mitel switch at a different location. When we try to add that extension to the button it says the extension is not valid. We are able to 4 digit dial between sites. What is the best way to get this to work?

Multicall keys are not supported across controllers.
You may want to try DSS/BLF depending on your needs.

DSS/BLF also gives the same error. Any ideas of how to get this to work?

Is the phone in question resilient to the controller that the line resides?
