Recieving caller ID on ER Advisor
« on: May 23, 2013, 10:59:35 AM »
Hi all,

I'm a newbie on these forums.  I've tried to search this on this forum but cannot find any answers...

I'm installing ER Advisor 6.0 all is working great except for calls that are coming in from the "outside world" (DID).  When a call is made internally to the emergency number ER Advisor is notified with all the correct info.  Although if I call that numbers DID I did not get the notification at first.  I found out through Mitel support that any calls coming in via DID will not trigger the SNMP trap.  My work around was to send the call to a greet & transfer mailbox, which did generate the trap, although I do not see the caller ID anymore.

Has anyone played around with this setup? Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you.

What is it you are trying to do? Can you explain how incoming calls tie to an ER advisor? The point of the product is to report on 911 dialed from internal extensions so I not quite sure what you are trying to do.
