VM Port going DND ?
« on: April 16, 2013, 08:14:29 AM »
Hi.

I have a situation where we have a VM Port being used for a RAD greeting (which has a directory number of 739), but this keeps going in to DND mode? Does anyone know how and why this could happen!

Basically if I ring 739 directly I get a NO DISTB message. Running a maintenance command "LOCATE FEATURE EXTENSION 739" it shows:

Extension : 739
Active Features :
Do Not Disturb
Service Level: Full

If I go to Users & Devices > Advanced Configuration > DND then I can set the DND to off, however I have done this already today and it has gone back on and I have no clue as to why!

This is the only one we have setup that is doing this!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Kind regards,

Steve

Is there a recording setup on that RAD, if you call it does it answer and play a message?

Also, in it's COS make sure you have DND set to NO.

Thanks for your response, very helpful..

If I take the extension out of DND usng the web interface then I can ring that extension and hear the greeting.. however it doesn't seem to take too long before it goes back to being DND.

The COS could be an option - where can I find out what COS is in use for a RAD, I cannot seem to find the setting?

Many thanks
Steve

Also,
In the COS of the RAD, if the length of your message is longer than the message length timer then the system thinks there is a problem with the RAD and put it in DND.
