Mitel 3300 Directory services within ACD
« on: April 14, 2013, 08:55:53 PM »
Hi,

Is it possible at all to have directory services in an ACD path like we have in auto-attendant? My client has callers who know the extension numbers of some of their employees and would like them to be able to dial out of the path to their extensions. They had an auto attendant set up before and recently moved to an ACD setup.

Cheers!

Steve.

I'm thinking the only way to do that is to send it to VM.
So the message would say:"If you know your party's extension then press '1'.  Then transfer the call to your AA so they can dial the extn.

The 3300 has to the ability in an ACD path to allow the caller to press a digit to leave. You would need to setup the single digit to go to your AA. From the help files.

ACD Path Interflow Dialing Lists (PATH I)
Purpose:
The ACD Path Interflow Dialing Lists form defines the destination to be dialed when a caller presses a single digit. The number can be used to dial destinations such as a set, a voice mail port or a speedcall number. Up to 500 instances of the form can be created. Use this form when performing the following tasks:

Dial Out Of An ACD Queue

Thanks Ralph! Your suggestion worked.

Interflow dialing list was only giving me an option to dial out of the queue by dialing a single digit. Client wanted callers to be able to direct dial an extension number at any time.

Cheers!
Steve.
