Does Mitel support the concept of shared lines where the user A can have a presence on multiple phones. For example user A has a 5212/5330/5340 phone configured as SIP or IP. The user also has a second SIP device.
Using multiline or Mobile Extension I can make both ring when user A is called. However is there a way so that user A can originate calls from both devices.
It seems I cannot originate a call from a SIP device for user A if the device did not send a SIP registration for user A. In this case I cannot send a SIP registration because user A is associated with the 5212/5330/5340 device and Mitel only supports one registration for a user.
I have tried adding a multiline or key system for user A on a SIP phone with primary user B. This seems not to work on a SIP devices for call originations.
