DID Conversion
« on: September 24, 2008, 04:57:39 PM »
Hello,

We received a list of 10 list of phone number from the phone company for our DIDs.  Example:

341-5050
341-5051
341-5052
341-5053
so on.....

I have  extensions that we want to tie this to.

x18050
x18051
x18052
x18053

How can I make it so when someone dials the main number it will automatically ring the extensions without creating a system speed dial.  Is it in the Digit Modification or ARS?...I would like the range of numbers from the phone company to work with the range of assigned extensions for DIDs.

Any information would be appreciated.

it is in trunk service assignment form-  If the telco is handing you 7 digits, set it to absorb 4 and add 18

Wouldn't that be in the Digit Modification form?

Not on inbound calls.  Chakara is correct.   Inbound digit mod is done through the Trunk Service Assignment form.

This is one of the few things I don't like about the Mitel, they need to have an incoming digit conversion table not tied to system speedcall.
