Voice mail routing
« on: November 22, 2010, 02:46:19 PM »
Can anyone one tell me how to go about hanging up an outside call that only listens to a menu node or announcement only voice mail message.  Currently if the user hears the message the system automatically routes them to the auto attendent or system mailbox.  I would like for the call to simply disconnect.  System type Mitel 3300 ICP v 5.

The better wasy of handling this would be to configure a RAD message, the voicemail will always keep the port open until you hang up.

Just be sure to check your security.   Ringing directly to a RAD can turn it into an auto attendant that will allow the caller to dial anywhere the COR of the trunk allows.
Including international calling.
