inbound call route to voicemail hunt group
« on: August 13, 2010, 05:22:47 PM »
I have a DID that is suppose to ring to the AA. I have a single line appearance on a virtual pkm for 0817 with no mailbox.  I have this number call routing to the voicemail hunt group so the system greeting will answer. but it's taking 4-5 rings for the system greeting to answer.  How can I get this inbound call to ring immediately to the system greeting?

I think the CO has that DNIS digit forwarded.  And that is causing the delay.

You can make this a bit simpler.
Delete the virtual key.
Program your DID 0817 as a system speed dial to go to the voice mail hunt group.

Done.

As long as your DID doesn't need a mail box, this is how to do it.
