CPN Substitution over a Direct IP Trunk
« on: September 12, 2014, 06:12:54 AM »
Hi,

I need to be able to show the calling number of a Telephone connected to one system (I'll call this PBX-DE2) which dials out over ISDN30 connected to another system (PBX-DE1.)  They are linked together using Direct IP.

On PBX-DE1 I have created the substitutions and applied this.  This works on a call made from a handset on PBX-DE1, but not from a handset on PBX-DE2.  I did think I might need to add the ID of the system to the DID number but this is too long.  Is this even possible to do?

Thanks

Stephen

The phones on the second controller that make outgoing trunk calls over the trunks of the first controller should be added to the CPN substitute table. You should also be able to use the associated number table or DID server of release 7. :)

The controllers are currently on release 5, that might explain it.
