Mulitline key programming bug
« on: September 18, 2013, 11:13:16 AM »
3300 version 6.0

This is something I just became aware of.

If you program an app button on a multiline set (DND, MWI, etc) then go to advanced options, Multiline Key Assignments and edit the phone by selecting Change All Members, the app button will show as "Account code".

Note: this is only an issue with IE.   Firefox works fine.

Actually, (patting my own back here) the Firefox work around was discovered by me.
jrgood0852 is my coworker and he updated tek-tips (jerk ;)).

I didn't know about ie compatibility mode.   I'll have to try that.
Here's the comment from tek-tips:

had the same problem. it's related to I.E, to fix the problem:
under Tools, go to compatibility mode and put the ICP ip address there. it worked for me.
let me know

Ralph

[update] I can confirm that putting the IP address in the compatibility mode resolves the issue.  In the tools I put in the IP addresses of 10.*.*.* & 192.168.*.*    That should cover most of my systems.
