HELP!!!!!transfer on external hotdesking

When i receive a call on my deskphone,I made the call transfer with Fixed Single-Digit Code
(system option----External Hot Desk Single Digit Mid Call Features---click NO),i get tone transfer,i dial DN, BUT when i hangup,the call on hold and no transfer.

You need to change that option to yes to use single digit mid call features

"Select "No" if you want External Hot Desk users to invoke mid-call features by dialing feature access codes. The alternative (Yes) is to use the original fixed single-digit codes.


When set to no you must use system feature access code.

Other option is to add a handoff key to the desk phone.

Don't know then, are you sure you are using the correct FAC for transfer and not hold?

You need the switch hook flash FAC for a consultation hold rather than the call hold FAC. You can use hold but you would need to speak to the party you are calling and tell them to use the FAC for call hold remote retrieve and then dial you extension number. If you want blind transfer and FAC then you will have to set up the switch hook flash FAC.

i have installed FAC of 'use flash',for example:111
you perform call to my cell phone (my cell phone is external hotdesking),i pick up on my cell phone and converse,i want transfer call to extension number 555(extension number of ICP system),i dial 111,i get tone transfer,i dial 555,i hangup,this time you will music on hold and no transfer to 555,I hope you can help me.

does 555 ring when you dial it? If it does can you answer it? If you change option to yes in COS does it work using digit 2?

Alsp make sure you do not have broker's call enabled in COS of phones.

yes,ext 555 ring and i can answer with ext 555,but when i dial FAC use flash and hangup,the call no transfer from you to 555,you can specify more than me??I chose "yes" in system option( The alternative (Yes) is to use the original fixed single-digit codes)and dial 2 but unsuccessful.

So Brokers call is off in COS?

if you transfer a call from your phone using the FAC or single digit the call is put on hold and you ring the extension and clear down. At this point does the extension that you are trying to transfer to  ring and if so can you answer the call? (Blind transfer)

Can you put the call on hold and speak to the other extension if they answer and then release the call and it completes?

I'm up against the limit of my knowledge now so am struggling to help any further, sorry.
