D-Channel dropping
« on: February 12, 2013, 11:21:11 AM »
I have a site that has a S-2000 with its PSTN connections and the phones at the main campus, there is a 3300 with two PRI links to a NSU that is connected to the 2k for trunkning to remote sites with 3300s. Lately the D-channel has been dropping on the tie link and dropping calls only to come right back up. We have swapped the cables and the embedded card on the 3300. We haven't swapped the NSU yet, but will if necessary.

I have some logs that I don't know exactly what they mean and I was wondering if anyone else had an insight on them (see the attachments). Mainly, what is msg (8) and what is likely causing this error?

The 3300 is running 5.0 SP1 PR1.
