Mitel 3300 ICP Greeting Question

I am very new to the mitel phone system.  I have a question about greetings.  We are trying to setup the greeting to say, Press 1 for Sales or press 2 for Technical Support.  However, our extensions are 4 digits.  How do you associate the greeting number to an extension?  Can this be done?  Thanks for any help on this.

Set up a mail box as "mailbox 1" with extension number of XXXX.
Same for mailbox 2.
Set them to be xfer only.   
Record a greeting in each of the mailboxes that says "You are being transfered to <bla bla> group" before testing.
