Mitel SX2000 Configuration
« on: January 27, 2011, 11:13:01 AM »
Hello,

At first, im sorry for my english, im from Portugal ... Madeira :) greetings :)

As a newb ... i want to make a configuration on my Mitel SX2000 and i Don't know how to do it.

1 : We have a COR = 1 (this COR has only access to the internal telephone extensions)

We want to add more numbers to that COR, where can I do this?

2: After we have the numbers inserted on that COR, we need to configure the line that will support calls to those numbers, Where can we do this?

Ok, for now it's only these 2 questions.

Thanks you for your assistence

Pedro Gomes

In general,  COR defines what can be called outside of your PBX.
You shouldn't need to do anything to be able to call internal extensions.

Hello Ralph,

Thanks you for your Answer :)

In fact, those new nembers i need to add are external ones and we have a special contract that turns those calls free to us and that's why we need to put those number in a COR that would make able to users call to them (users with COR = 1 (internal extensions)).

In my Point 2, is: for we can make calls to those numbers, we need to configure the PBX to certain outside phone lines, we have to "special" lines that we must configure for these new numbers.

Kind Regards

Check in you ARS "Automatic Route Selection" you probably have the "free" call going out one route or list and the "toll" call going out another.
