Mass update TELEWORKER IP on deskphones?
« on: October 18, 2019, 01:04:47 PM »
We're in the process of prep for a Border Gateway move to another site and with a new public IP. We'll need to change the Teleworker IP on all the Phone devices we have out there in the world and I wanted to know if anyone is familiar whether Mitel provides a feature to update the currently connected IP phones to a new Teleworker IP. This way we can update the phones with a new Tele.IP and have them automatically reconnect once the system come up online with the new Public IP.

Anyone know if this is possible? Because providing instructions to users will definitely cause lots of people to screw up. We're familiar with the "reboot, hold 7" process, but I was more interested in deploying the IP info from the MBG or some other way or tool.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, looks like it. I'm just so surprised that a large scale VOIP provider didn't think of this..... smh
