Mitel wireless DECT headsets have been discontinued
« on: December 05, 2018, 10:35:16 AM »
The official Mitel Headsets have been discontinued. Wondering if anyone here can recommend a third party wireless DECT headset that provides the same functionality as the mitel headset. Not sure if this is the correct forum for this post.

We just use Plantronic with the lift kit... Always hated the Mitel ones, the range was terrible compared to Plantronics. Have a few customers who bought there own Jabra and Sennheiser headsets, no complaints from them either.

Ditto on Plantronics headsets/lifters. We stopped buying the Mitel DECT headsets a couple of years ago.

We have hundreds of Plantronics in service, much preferred by end-users.

The Mitel DECT hands free headsets have been discontinued?  I wondered about that a few years ago, and was told they weren't discontinuing the headsets.  I bought a bunch of the ear cushions and batteries, just for the spares.  A bit frustrating the mouth piece/boom part of the headset seemed to fail far more often than the phone wireless part.

Company users have been happy with the Mitel headsets, barring the arguments about head band vs over the ear and whether to set the phone to pickup when you pressed the speaker button or have to push the headset button :) :o ::) .

Headsets and Cordless handsets are end of line in the UK. I quite liked them!

We have changed to Plantronics CS540 with lifter, much less elegant solution and it's a bit of a ball ache having to find spare power outlets next to every desk.

Strange that the stock has ran out just as they make the 6900 Series Cordless Headsets work with the 250 :)

They don't work that well with a MiVO400 either.

To be honest I'm hesitant with the 6900 series handsets on anything except a MiVB. On anything else they are just another fancy SIP handset.
