In the mean time I spoke to a Mitel engineer. He told me that this option is a requested by many administrators but this feature request is still in "People want it status" at Mitel. I find this really unbelievable. Such a big company in telephony! Only solution is to let people switch routings bij hand via a menu (I suppose) or let an administrator program it everytime a period switches...

This is a shame Mitel!

Hi,

I have searched the web and asked several Mitel engineers in our organization how I can program a time period in a YourSite schedule. But they couldn't help me.
I want schedules for several different time periods. For example, during time period 1 I want to route calls to number 1xxx and during period 2 to number 2xxx. I can program day by day in a schedule, but for periods such as a week, month or sometimes longer it is not desirable to do this day by day.
In the past I have programmed several Avaya pbx'es (via Avaya voicemail server) and there I could do almost everything regarding to schedules, menus etc. I hope that Mitel can do this too.

We have an Enterprise Mivoice Business cluster of 3 PBXs with Micollab server. This is an enterprise solution that I expect can also create advanced switching and schedules.

I hope someone can help me further and I hope that programming periods is possible.

Well that's a short and clear answer! Then I have to reconsider how to solve this... Maybe the user can be static...

Thanks!

Hi,

First of all, I love this source of Mitel information! It really helped me out in some cases! Thanks for that!

But now I have this issue. I mistakenly bought 2 6869i SIP phones. On our Mivoice we have 69xx phones and 5xxx Minet phones. I can't return those 2 SIP only phones but I want to try to use them anyway as they are 2 really good phones. I can make SIP accounts in the Mivoice but i'm wondering if I can login my hotdesk users on it. I used to be working with Avaya and Broadsoft, 3CX and i managed to do hotdesking on those boxes. But Mitel differs from those machines. I crawled  this site and our friends at Google, but i just can't find an answer.

So can i use hotdesking on SIP phones and is there a description availble how to do this on a Mivoice Business. Or is there Minet software which can be flashed in to these phones?

I hope you can help me, thank you in advance!
