thank you very much when I go to ACD Paths I can see Path Directory Number with Path Name and Path reporting number

I believe this is tide to different queues at the moment?

Do you mind telling me which path options should I look for for MoH?

I can see Inteflow Point Directory Number have been configured, I cansee Directory Number have been configured, DTMF Receiver Unavailable action have been configured with Play RAD

Hi there

We are using MX3300 system and I have been instructed to change MoH for some queues (1800 number route to that queue)

This is not the default MoH change but change MoH for some certain queues only

I believe we need to modify the RAD port that assign to these queues?

Any one have experience before and can guide me where to check this? Do we need to check this in Your Site Explorer in IVR level?

We have a fully redundant SIP trunk which split across 2 different network part in our data center so the chance that the SIP trunk is down is very minimum. We have a secondary data center but they are the cold site only, we only turn this site on if earthquake happen in the primary data center (both primary and secondary are in synced). So the scenario in here is just for our primary data center 

So I believe from the reading

a second virtual controller (I believe it need to be clustered with the primary controller and all the users/devices and configurations are in synced between each other?). I don't understand why you need to manually change all users and devices as I thought with mitel ( I have seen youtube video as well) the failover is quite transparent to users . Do all the devices/users point to the cluster IP rather individual IP of the primary controller?

As we have single MBG server, how it know the secondary virtual controller if failover happen?

Hi there

We just migrated from using Mitel Physical controller 3300 to Mitel Mivoice Business virtual appliance and I have received request to look into the setup of clustering/HA for this virtual appliance so that if the main appliance is down, the second one will jump in and serve the client. I believe this will not interrupt our phone system

I just wonder what requirements need for this scenario in term of

1. what technology to setup HA/clustering
2. network requirement
3. licensing cost

Hi

We are using Micollab client soft phone

Ring group have the name in the telephone directory

So if we can let it display rather the original caller number then that is perfect

so in general with Minet softphone:

you cannot use this with mobile device
does not offer video call
multiple licenses will be required

Hi

We have setup ring group (several staff extension in this group) and assign extension to this ring group

When I call this ring group, looks like the MCD retain the original caller number so staff donnot know if this is the call directly to them or this is the call from ring group

I just wonder if there is any way in MCD 3000 to setup so that when someone ring the ring group number, it will show up in the staff extension the caller ID is ring group number rather the original number. By doing this staff will know this is call from the ring group they belong to rather a direct call to them

Hi I just wonder if someone can explain the different between

Setup Micollab client by using Minet Softphone type with MBG using 5020 IP device type in MCD

Setup Micollab client by using UC Endpoint as device type in MCD

When I use micollab client to log in I dont see much different

certainly I believe the license is different but not too sure if any benefit of using either of those?

voicemail have been setup properly when we create a new extension as if we exist the micollab client, the call then destine to voicemail is fine

we use the micollab with physical desktop

the voicemail is working fine with normal physical handset so I must assume it is right setup

the problem only happen when the laptop is in sleep mode or when there is a disconnection to computer network. if you ring it is just quite and do nothing

Hi

Hope someone can shed some light

We are testing the behaviour of the micollab client and what we found was when the computer have been put into sleep mode or when network is disconnect, if we try to ring the micollab client, the phone is quite and nothing happen, it does not even go into voice mail

I believe the correct behavior is that in this situation it should go to voicemail?

If we exit the micollab client and try to ring and it goes to voicemail properly. It just does not work when computer is in sleep mode or the network have been disconnected

unfortunately we only run the micollab client server not a full micollab server so I believe the option for teleconference for micollab client is not available

We configure the transfer button (multi call) so when on call user can click onto this button

but when they click onto the Consult button then it does not work

the transfer button is work

Hi

We are using micollab client 7.3 as our soft phone and we come to scenario when we need to setup so that extension A can monitor extension B and can pick up call that go to extension B if extension B is not available.

We come up with personal ring group and assign extension B as the extension for the group

The incoming is fine but when we call extension A or when extension A to call out it always display as it come from extension B

Hi all

We have our micollab client (UC Ednpoint license) work at the moment

We have made the custom button with Transfer/Conference facility but the transfer functionality is worked but not the conference

I just wonder if anyone can make the teleconference work in using Micollab client?
