I am configuring the IVR using Yoursite explorer for a Mitel 3300 ICP. An IVR option is linked to a landline number so when a client chooses this option, the landline number is called. If this call is not answered say after 10 seconds, is it possible to redirect the call to an agent queue internally?

I am administering a Mitel 3300 ICP and was wondering if it is possible to create a pilot number containing landline numbers? So that when this pilot number is rang, it will either ring the first available landline number or ring all of the landline numbers similar to what is done in a ring group.

What did you apply the security update to?

The security update was applied to the Mitel 3300 ICP.

Look at the Filezilla logs. Replicate what the Mitel is doing, upload a file of a similar size to the same location as the same user. Does it work.
FWIW, I am backing up tens of customer's MiVB systems to a Filezilla server without issue.

Tried replicating it with the same user on another computer and the computer was able to successfully upload the file to the same location on the FTP server.

Below are the Filezilla logs:

As can be seen near the bottom of the log, there is a "550 Permission denied" so it seems the issue is with the Mitel 3300 ICP.

Backups over FTP use to work until a security update was applied. Now the backups fail and when looking at the network traffic between the Mitel 3300 ICP and FTP server (Filezilla), there is a "550 Permission denied" from the server. Looking at the logs on the Mitel 3300 ICP, I also see "Could not put the backup file to FTP server: <ftp_server_IP>" and "Permission denied".

I never made any configuration changes to the FTP server since the security update and even gave full rights to the Everyone user on the backup destination folder to test it, but still getting permission denied error. Why is this happening? Is it a bug?

I am running a MiCollab server that is on version 8.1.0.101 and MiCollab client is version 7.3.0.366. When selecting 'Forgot your password' from the MiCollab client and entering the login ID, I get the following message: "Password reset failed. Your account does not have an email specified". However, the login ID I entered has a Primary Email Address configured. What could be the reason MiCollab is not using the Primary Email Address? I have already configured an SMTP server under Configuration > Email settings.

Are phones and PC's on same subnet?

Could be a routing issue as the 2 endpoints need to be able to communicate directly.

Yes, it was a routing issue as the phones and PCs are on different subnets. Had a static route on the MiCollab PC only pointing to the IP of the PBX (which is on the same subnet as the phones). Changing the static route to point to the subnet of the phones solved the issue.

7
Internal call ok, but the phone are in the same place or on two different sites?  99% of one way audio problems are related to the firewall.

The phones are in the same site. The only firewall being used between the communication is Windows firewall. I think it wouldn't be a firewall issue as there is no one-way audio when the MiCollab client (with the issue) communicates with an external number.

I am experiencing a strange issue with an end user using MiCollab client 7.3. When calling an internal extension, they can hear the other side but the other side cannot hear them. However, when calling an external number, e.g. mobile number, both sides can hear each other. I tested this by calling the internal number of reception where there is one-way audio, but when dialing the external number of reception both sides can hear each other. What could be the cause of this issue?

While trying to use MiCollab for Mobile to connect to MiCollab server after providing the authentication key, I got the following error:
Error Code: 22 - Connection to the MiCollab Client Deployment server denied. Cannot verify the security certificate. Please contact your administrator
Clicking on "More information" led me to this link:http://help.devices.mitel.com/help/index.html#22. In addition to indicating that only public trusted TLS certificates are supported, it mentions that certificates should be installed on MBG. What is the role of MBG for using MiCollab for Mobile? Is it mandatory to have MBG to get MiCollab for Mobile working? I am connecting to MiCollab server using a VPN so I don't understand why MBG would be required.

Hey,

It is possible, you can use an ANI lookup and add the numbers you want to block to route to a hang-up.

Something like this:

Thanks that worked great.

Mitel Software Applications / Blocking calls using MiContact Center
« on: June 23, 2020, 02:34:50 PM »
Is it possible to block calls using MiContact Center? Intuitively, I would guess that this would be programmed in the IVR routing section, where the call would not proceed to the IVR greeting if the caller ID matches a certain number. Is this possible?

I got an error message indicating that all External Hot Desk User licenses were used up when trying to add a user and when I checked the License and Option Selection form, it indicated the following for External Hot Desk Users:

Available for Allocation: 20
Locally Allocated: 0

So I clicked Change, then modified Locally Allocated to 20, and got the following message:

"The allocation of 'External Hot Desk Users' will start a 'Try Before You Buy' trial.
You will have '60 Days' left in the trial.
Please purchase the license at the end of the trial."

Why is it that although 20 licenses are available for allocation, these licenses are not available?

Does the Mitel 3300 log the numbers of callers to a specific location? I checked the SMDR Inspector in the Contact Center Client but under "Calling Party", I see TXXX where XXX is a 3-digit number of the trunk that was used by the caller like T111, instead of seeing the number of the caller.

14
After enabling the COS setting "Public Network To Public Network Connection Allowed" for both the IVR ports and trunks, selecting the IVR option now successfully transfers the caller to the external number when dialing the Contact Centre number.

Tou would look at the trunk attributes form for trunks cos, also need to check ivr port cos. I would add trunk to trunk and external call forward

Thanks. So I enabled "Call Forwarding (External Destination)" in the COS of the trunks that were listed in the Trunk Attributes form and also enabled the same COS setting for the IVR ports. I tested it by dialing the IVR hunt group number (8000) and after pressing the IVR option, it successfully rang the external number.

Then to test it externally, I dialed the external number that callers dial to reach my Contact Centre. However, pressing the IVR option again rings the external number for 1 second then plays the IVR greeting from the beginning. Are there any other trunk settings in the COS that need to be enabled to fix this?

I would add trunk to trunk and external call forward

I couldn't find the "trunk to trunk" setting in the COS.
