Cheers for your help AceJavelin,

We have got the systems sharing data and get no SDS errors, we do however get this error when looking into the Maintenance Logs.

Log Type      Software
Log Number      2046
Severity      Warning

Time      17:39:48
Source      Call Control - Software
Description

SWERR range_check_error, OFFSET 2:$15EC, PC: $5D182A LOG_ID: xnetlh#98, PROCEDURE: xnetlh_handle_rmsg_open_ind, SEVERITY: cp_inform PID: ($2, $60C) Xnet Rejected open for ICP: 001 Received Invalid IP: 192.168.121.254

Module      Main
File Name and Line Number      log_outputs_util_en.c;1227

I am now suspecting the routers between sites to be modifying the packets in some way but I will confirm with the IT company tomorrow. As VisualSpirit says, there are no firewalls, just routers on an MPLS.

Hi Jason,

I think it will be based on where you're routing the call on the button press? Is it Day to the call centre and Night to a phone at the individual sites?

I think it will all be based on that question. If you're bringing the call back to site in the evenings, record on MB's locally?

So, after contacting Mitel Tech it can't be done, until V7.1

Upgraded our in-house kit to V7.2 tonight and all good in the world...

Go to VM options form and then you can change to show the email address in the system options form or in the mailbox setup.

Just incase anyone else is looking for this...

Just to add, we like to turn off "Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt" on the mailboxes. Just another addition to the lengthy process of leaving a VM!

Anyone using this with the SIP licence?

We have a customer with 12 SIP licences and remote workers. The call quality is good (all home BB dependent, head office has EFM) but sometimes call control suffers. We can get calls ringing mid call and also menu's that won't close.

Been working with Mitel closely to get it resolved but wondering if I have just missed something from the setup?

Cheers

Another option is a P2P VPN.

MBG and VPN's offer security that a simple NAT translation won't. Maybe worth looking into!

If you're connecting a phone at someone's house then the VPN may not be an option because of poor home routers. May also be an issue with the ports though.

MBG and teleworker works a treat. We have many sites connecting back to their head office PBX through a single MBG!

« on: October 01, 2015, 02:49:08 PM »
Hi All,

First post here as I always find the answer to my questions on this forum!

I have a question regarding the format that emails are sent from the 3300 to the SMTP relay.

We are having issues with the First_Last name format. The customers email server doesn't like the _

Emails are sent to Postfix SMTP relay and then onto a cloud based SMTP server. It gets to the server before the failure.

Is there any way to change the format to First.Last or even just First? Everything else is working bar that!

Thanks for your help in advance!

Tom
