MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Incoming Caller ID
« on: March 14, 2014, 09:22:00 PM »
Hello,

I'm having an issue with incoming caller ID not appearing on any phones. The display shows the trunk group number, and "Private". The service is a T1. Is there anything that needs to be done for Caller ID to display on the phones, or does this seem like a carrier issue?

Thanks

Whenever this user is on the phone, and a second call comes in to the hunt group, the user hears dial tone for a second before the original call continues. This issue is only affecting one user, and I do not believe it is a physical issue with the phone, because the user has a hot desk profile and the issue follows them from phone to phone.

A restart of the system did not help, and I'm not really sure what to look for as far as flags or settings go. Is there some way to prevent a second call from coming to a user? I believe that might solve the issue.

Thanks

Hi all,

I have been having a problem with a digital set on a Mitel 5000. What happens is that the receptionist answers all calls coming in, and redirects them as necessary. When a call is transferred to this set, instead of the call going to VM, it bounces back to the receptionist. I have checked the forwarding path, and flags on the set, and they are set the same way as other sets that do not have this issue. The set does have voicemail setup.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
