Yes, the COS settings are the trigger to get T38 working. What version are you on?

Through a VPN could work if the home connection is a transparant connection. Better solution would be using a MBG for Teleworker solution.

Assuming that you are correct then the phones are either resilient or are pointed from the DHCP controller address to the current address. If a phone is trying to register on a system and that phone (MAC address) is unknown to that controller it will look at the remore directory to find the controller that phone number belongs to and it will redirect it.

On the CPN substitution page there must be a default filled in. If that is not there the Calling party number block within the ISDN will not be used.

Is this issue still happening? On ISDN you must have a Default CPN filled in for each link. That's a start.

This has all info that indicates it is an issue on the other side. The next step would be to trace the ISDN messages EDT Tr TSP L2L3 x x x x (x x x x is the PLID)

You can download software and instructions from Mitel on Line. The recover procedure including the replacement of HD is in the Tech Handbook.

There is no way to get an incoming CIM/CRM if there has not been en ISRM before. This is only the last part of the communication. What kind of trunks are these?

Look at the feature called remote retrieve. That is probably what you are looking for.

« on: May 19, 2015, 05:19:06 PM »
That is not possible as the ringgroup is designed to queue all calls. The only workaround that I can think of is to set the parameters in a way that the system will not queue. Play with the averedge timer settings in release 7.0 onwarrds so that the caal on busy is forwarded to the overflow point. Make that a RAD device in a Voice type huntgroup and get the RAD play Busy tone.
The rad will play for the time of your recording and then the call will be terminated by the system. I believe that this works. (have never set this one up though.......  :)

First question to ask is, internal calls or external calls having these problems? or even both?
External only then run packet trace on the MBG to capture one of these calls and see what and who the cause is of the disconnecting calls.
Internal calls being disconnected look at the logs in the 3300 instance.

One way of finding the numbers is to use the command: Locate Number xxx via the maintenance commands. It should tell you local used numbers, remote directory numbers and numbers under buttons.

No Idea if this is something you might be interested in. We use the multicolor buttons as the flashing is to much of a Christmas tree. :)
The following settings are involved:
The Busy Lamp Field (BLF) indicator light does not flash when a hot desk user is logged out. When a hot desk user is logged in, the lamp lights steady green. A new Class of Service option, Green BLF Lamp for Logged in Hotdesk User, controls this capability.

Multi-Color LED line status involves employing color to indicate to a set user whether activity on a line key is of direct concern to the user, or of greater concern to another member of the associated Broadcast Group.

Any hotdesk user and SIP device on the system that is active/present will have a green LED. Any "normal" user will have a green LED on Idle.

What software version are you running?

Do a GDM check and if the error is flagged do a GDM repair. That might fix the problem.
