Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MiCollab Softphones - no outgoing audio
« on: November 14, 2023, 10:04:32 AM »
Good morning,

I've recently had some issues where after deploying the MiCollab mobile app to users, calls can be established, but there is no outgoing audio from the app user. I've undeployed, redeployed, uninstalled the app, and made sure that their settings are identical to my own (and my app functions without issue). However, nothing solves the problem. Does anyone have some insight or direction on how to resolve this? Thanks!

Mitel Software Applications / CCMWeb - Trunk Call paths?
« on: September 28, 2023, 04:09:56 PM »
Good afternoon,

Does anyone know if there is a report in CCMWeb that shows the usage of each individual call path inside of a trunk? The trunk reports I'm running now seem to collate all of the information. We'd like to be able to see how often each path inside of a trunk is being used rather than all together.

Thanks for the help!

The phones may not be pointed to the correct server. THis does depend upon direct or indirect setup for recording
Are you able to elaborate on how to correct this? Is this something that I need to modify on the MiVCR or MiVB side? Thanks!!

Good afternoon,

Hopefully this is the right sub forum for this question. I have some extensions where calls should be recorded. However, upon inspection in the Call Recording Admin in MiVCR, it shows some extensions in the 'Ports' subsection have the error message:

"Alarm Waiting for Extension Association from SRC" or "Alarm SrcXml: Device... (Mac and IP addresses) ... Offline or Down"

Some research shows that the majority of the devices are not registered in the IP Phone Inventory when I look on MIVB.

But, these extensions are operating totally fine otherwise - it's just the recording that appears to not be functioning. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm still learning. Thanks!

Those are Maintenance Commands issues in the MiVB. Go into the MiVB System Admin tool, navigate to Maintenance and Diagnostics -> Maintenance Commands.
Oh, great. I'll give that a shot and report back. Thanks!

If you do a Locate Ext <extn> it will show you where the device is logged in.
To log the device out remotely the command is Busy Reset <ext>

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for the insight. Where can I execute these commands? I've been working in our MiCollab Server Manager and MiVoice Business System Tool but can't say I've seen a place to run commands just yet.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Hot Desk user - remote log out?
« on: July 20, 2023, 10:15:52 AM »
Hello everyone,

I'm newer to working in MiVoice Business, so please bear with me :) I'm attempting to change a Hot Desk extension into a hardpinned one. The previous user of this extension left the organization but remained logged in to whichever extension they were at last.

I'm attempting to use the Hot Desk Remote Log out feature - I double checked to make sure my extension had the Class of Service option enabled - but I still am not able to access this.

Unfortunately, I do not know the user's login PIN for their Hot Desk, so I cannot log them into a different phone to then log out.

Hopefully, I am just overlooking something or looking at the wrong documentation. Thank you to anyone who can point me in the right direction!
