Title: Upgrade Standalone 3300 to Enterprise
Post by: Saltrock23 on September 20, 2016, 05:56:36 AM
Hi

How easy is this process, will i run in to any license difficulties with doing an upgrade or is it even possible.  Do i just buy the enterprise software or is there an upgrade path?

There is a standalone to enterprise migration license... It's just a license, apply it, sync to AMC and reboot.

Before you add the license get a complete backup. After the sync with AMC the system will let you know to "restore database and reboot". I just added one a few days ago luckily I pulled a backup first

Be careful with this, there is more than just the base standalone to enterprise upgrade.

There is also an upgrade cost for each user/acd. essentially you pay the price difference between standard and enterprise for each user licensed.

Yes, there is a spreadsheet that calculates what is needed ($$$ and parts wise) in order to be able to migrate, which all depends on the number of users, features, etc.
