I stumbled across it by mistake on my last multi-node install when some wanted their DID/DDI lines to ring to a separate key (you can't do this to many, for it requires a separate key map per phone) and the secondary key appearance gives a sort of broken ring that is different from the ext or int ring.

Try it and see what you think...

Try assigning a line to a phantom and have the phantom set as a secondary extension key on the phone. That should provide a different ring tone for that line...

I agree that remote admin via ethernet is the best...and easy...I am fortunate to work for a telco where I normally have access to the router to do the port forwarding. Typically I only have to change port 80 and sometimes port 22 to something else...and I'm on my way...but some systems like the SX200 or the Nortel Meridian need a baud rate connection and it for those I pack around my ancient Dell...for the RJ11 port

The 5000 also has an analogue modem on extn 1500, you can route a spare DDI to 1500 and use a cutting edge 56k dial up modem to access.

I like modems...however, I haven't had a laptop in the past five years that had an RJ11 port...and that's sad. If I need to dig out my ancient Dell and dial away

How do I turn the call logging off of the 5610 Dect handsets...I have looked in the Dect Stand config guide and in the 5000 and I find nothing relating to call logging for the SIP phones

I have a customer coming from a Nortel system and they want Call Park. I have looked through every feature on the system and I don't see an equivalent. What am I missing?
