Setting back default MoH
« on: March 23, 2017, 05:11:14 AM »
Dear all,

Is it possible to set back the default MoH?

I've put the MoH supplied by the customer (Embedded mode) but he wants me to remove it. I've disabled it, I want now to restore the default one. Can any one help?

I thought there were a tech note on Mitel knowledge base but did not find it.

Thanks in advance.

According to my knowledge, there is no default MoH after SW is installed and there isn't any MoH provided by Mitel that can be used.

Have a look at ftp://<controller_ip>/db/eMOH/ if there are any files. If so, you can open them in AudaCity as raw data (8000 Hz sample rate, A-Law codec, mono).

There is no "default" music source, if you remove all MOH then callers will just get silence when on hold.

Thanks to all of you for your comments and help.

I really appreciate.

So I've understood that it is normal to get silence, if I disable the MoH.

Once more thanks a lot.
