Mitel 3300 password issues

Any quick way to reset a password on 3300 currently the one we setup doesnt work and it should anyone else come accross this issue

ResetAllLoginPasswords command in the RTC terminal doesn't work?

The method required is software dependant

early systems you could delete a file and restart the MCD
there was some where it wasnt possible without mitel assitance and later you can use the console command

If backup is available, you can update a file in the backup file that contains the user credentials, reinstall the software and restore from the backup.
