Direct to ARS
« on: October 27, 2016, 02:24:51 PM »
Is there a way to duplicate the direct to ARS feature of a Mitel 200 on a MCD? I thought this was possible at one time but can't remember how we set it up. Trying to avoid dialing "8"for ARS from a fax machine.

CX running 7.2 with a PRI

Thanks

If you have analog lines you could set up a special ARS route to hit them then ring down to it.

Example.
5555 is an ARS route hits analog trunk group.  Absorb ALL digits.  This will leave you with CO dial tone.
Now use the associated directory number form to ring down to 5555.

I don't know if this will work with PRIs or not.  I'm sure it won't work with SIP.
