Hi, Can someone please me to program an ext to be forwarded to another on no answer without having to program a call forward key on the phone ?

This varies by phone model, in Supersets and most IP phones, it is done via the Superkey.

On analog phones and some IP phones, it is done by dialing the call forward access code (*03 is default), the condition (1 is all calls, 2 for busy, 3 for no answer, 4 for busy/no answer), then the destination number.

Remember that you cannot forward directly to an outside number.

I guess what I wanted to ask is how to program it on the phone system itself without having to dial any feature code on the actual phone, Im in a remote city but I have access via Procomm plus. I have few phones programmed this way but im not able to figure out the way that they were done. The set type is 4025.

The SX200 does not support programming of call forwarding via the PC or terminal, except you could build a different Form 19 for a different tenant, then apply that tenant to the device. Remember you may have to adjust the tenant interconnect restrictions.

What is the end result you are looking for? Can you give an example?

I have ext 1133 programmed to be forwarded on busy/no answer to ext 1203 which is a wireless set. I'm trying to program 1136 to be forwarded to wireless ext 1204 on busy/no answer.

You might actually be right now that I think of it you can make that change in form 9 in one of the "more" areas if I am not mistaken, if the software is new enough.

I thought this can be done by creating a COS  in form 3, configure that COS in form 19, and assign it to ext 1136 , but when I checked the COS form I found 1136  assigned to the same COS as 1133 as follow:



ext 1133 and 1136 are on COS 16, COS 16 has

now what I don't understand is what is 2005.

Again 1133 call forwards to proper wireless set but 1136 does not.

any thoughts ?

You were almost there...

Highlight the station you want to change, select 5-MORE, 2-REVIEW, and then 1-CALL FORWARD.

Should be self-explanatory after that.

And BTW in your previous message I think you are confusing COS and Tenant, Form 19 is a tenant based form, the COS is not relevant.

There is no option  1- call forward the only available option is 2- Set APP 

2- Set APP has the following options

2- CO LINE GRP
3-TRUNK NUMBER
4-LDN NUM

acejavelin you were right! I accessed a different site that has a newer software installed and it has that option 1- Call Forwarding. However, that option is not there on the site that I'm trying to make the changes, I'm even missing forms 50 - 55 Must be an older one or might be a license type difference.

That would be older software, if you were missing the IP stuff (47+) too it's probably a Light and not an ICP, and should be replaced anyway.

2005 is likely the voicemail hunt group... Grab an unused tenant in form 19 and change the CFNA point to the wanted destination and change the tenant number of the station you want to forward.

This will take away their CFNA to voicemail though.
