Teleworker no audio with router
« on: June 23, 2016, 11:33:53 AM »
I have teleworker on vMBG in DMZ version 9.2.0.3....... MiVoice version 7.0 SP 1 PR 2.  Teleworker works fine if the remote end has no router.  If I take the phone and connect it directly to Broadband/DSL audio works fine.  If I add a router to remote side I lose my audio stream.  I have tried ZyXel and TP Link routers.  What do I need to open on the routers to allow audio traffic. Doesn't make sense to have to make adjustments on a $90 router

you shouldn't need to make any adjustments at all, no-one does, the nat traversal is part of MBG if you have licenses.

check your event logs, make sure you don't have license failure alarms.

Otherwise, make a test call, grab /var/log/tug/tug.log (from the 'view log files' panel) and contact support (or share them so I can take a look).

I will test the TUG but it looks like it wouldn't connect at all router or no router if it was a license issue
