Shared line appearance across a cluster
« on: March 10, 2016, 04:54:41 PM »
I though I saw a comment in a thread recently on how to get a non-prime line on a set to ring for a line in another node in the cluster. Can't for the life of me find it now, and I have a need to do that on an MCD 6.0UR3 cluster.

What I mean is, the user at 1234 at site A is temporarily moving to set 5678 at site B. Rather than reprogram phones, or change the user to a HotDesk user, looking for a quick and dirty way to give 1234 a ringing appearance on 5678. I can't figure out how to do that.

I tried that, can't get that to work. Got some detail on how to set it up? I tried just setting a DSS/BLF key of the remote DN on the phone, and setting the ring type to "ring". I'm obviously still missing something because that isn't working.

Didn't have the programming required in Remote Busy Lamps on the remote node. Got it working, thanks.
