QSig Call flash ring then hangs up
« on: March 10, 2016, 12:53:11 PM »
Good afternoon,
I have an NMS open source telephony unit that is using PRI 5ESS to connect to a 3300 using QSig.
The 3300 is the QSig side with address A.

The trunk comes up, D channel comes up. When I call from the NMS to the 3300, the desk phone actually does a split second "blip ring" then the NMS gets a call hung up message from the 3300.
I've checked all the call timers, made sure the Call Duration Forced Cleardown Timer is set to 0.

The extensions can call each other just fine.

Any ideas why it would drop the call just as soon as it makes the phone ring?

I got it. Knew it was something simple.
Was missing the Enbloc Enable option in the protocol assignment.

Thanks!

Ok, so I thought I had it fixed... LOL
Call rings now,  but when I answer, the receiving party hears a fast busy.
The far end sees the call as still active.

Anyone ever see this before?

Ok so here's the dilemma.

Setup q.sig got it to ring only to find out the open source box doesn't support it. (explains the ring but fast busy on answer)
Had to roll everything back to Wink Start E&M T1 ... yes... I know... boooooo   LOL

Here's the puzzling thing: I get the same issue now. Phone rings and get the intercept when I answer.
No issues with COR, class of services seems right...

Is there something that would allow the call to ring the phone but intercept upon answer?
I really hope someone can help... Been fighting this for a week.

Thanks,
Jeff
